IndexNow key generator

IndexNow lets you push URL changes to Bing, Yandex, Naver, Seznam and Yep in one POST. You need a 8-128 character hex key, hosted as a plain-text file at your site root. We generate one and tell you what to do with it.

What to do with it
  1. Save the key as a plain-text file named key.txt at your site root.
  2. The file's contents must be exactly the key string above (no extra whitespace, no newline at end).
  3. Verify it's reachable: https://yoursite.com/key.txt should return the key.
  4. Submit URLs by POSTing to https://api.indexnow.org/indexnow with the key + your URL list. Or sign up to LLM Submitter and we do this automatically on every site update.
